What I use:

I am currently on a natural nail journey and use a nail polisher to keep my nail beds shiny and strong. But before this little naked nail journey:

We all know I am a diehard press on nails girlie. I strictly use the Olive & June nail glue - it’s nontoxic and simply works the best. I rarely paint my fingernails and generally just have either bare toes or a couple coats of a light colored Sally Hansen on my toes with no base or top coat! Some of my favorite press on nails are Glamnetic, Olive & June, and Lost Angels Beauty.

How I get my press ons to last for 2 weeks:

  1. Make sure you do this right before bed (I do it in bed). You do not want any water getting under your nails and you don’t want any pressure on them. Letting them sit for 8 hours while you sleep is KEY.

  2. I buff the nail bed first - sometimes I use an alcohol wipe, sometimes I don’t.

  3. With the Olive & June Brush on nail glue - a little bit on the lower part of the nail, a thin coat over the entirety of my nail.

  4. PRESS AND HOLD FOR 45 SECONDS - do not skip this step. do not do less time. this is imperative.
